D+C Airparts Battery in Europe GmbH is active in Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul and focused on Electric components – especially batteries – for the Aerospace industry. We are an Authorized Distributor for most leading manufacturers of aircraft batteries and spare parts. For our facilities near Frankfurt Airport we are looking for an electro technician.
Purpose
In this versatile role the electro technician is responsible for carrying out all activities in the Battery Shop. You will support the maintenance manager in the organization as well as the processes in the battery shop and warehouse, and support the equipment construction, maintenance, and repair department.
You may also assist the quality manager in the implementation of the quality specifications and preparation of the audits and, with the help of the Battery Shop personnel, prepare draft Corrective Action Requirements (CAR). From time to time you will assemble the in-house manufactured equipment and the battery packs.
The electro technician will, by legal requirement, yearly assess and audit all electric equipment onsite.
Summary
Typical day-to-day responsibilities and tasks include:
- Maintenance of the batteries and battery packs according to the current specifications of the manufacturers
- Incoming goods process (unpacking, preparation of goods for storage and data entry in the ERP)
- Picking of customer orders
- Preparation and signing of the EASA Form1 and the Tag 8130-3
- Packing & Shipping (Backup) as well as doing deliveries from time to time
- Acts as the technical contact person for our customers and suppliers and process RMAs
Qualifications / Requirements for success
What we believe to be the right skills set:
- At least 5 years of experience in this field
- Fluent in German and English is a must
- A DGUV3 qualification is preferred
